Detailed itinerary
Day 1 : Pick up from Kigali airport and transfer to a hotel in Kigali
A guide will pick you from the airport and take you for a city tour in Kigali and you will visit a number of historical places like the Kigali genocide memorial, Rwanda art museum and Kimironko market. You will have an enrout6lunch and a guide will transfer you to the hotel in Kigali where you will spend the night.
Day 2 : Transfer to Akagera National Park for an afternoon boat cruise at lake Ihema
On day 2, you will have your breakfast at the hotel in Kigali where you spent the night and you will be transferred by the guide to Akagera National Park with a stop over at musanze for a visit at musanze caves. You will have an enroute lunch and then head to Akagera National Park. You will have a briefing when you arrive and then you will head to lake Ihema for an hour boat ride that will enable you see the hippos and crocodiles that reside in this lake. You will also see the various bird species that are at this lake. After the boat cruise, you will check into a hotel and spend your night there after having dinner.

Day 3 : Morning game drive and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Before leaving Akagera National Park, you will have breakfast at the lodge very early in the morning and you will go for briefing at the park headquarters. A guide will then take you fir s game drive and you will see a number of animals that will be roaming around to look for food and you will also see the big five that are harbored in Akagera National park. Leaving the wildlife aside6, you will also have views of other attractions in the park. You will head back to the lodge for lunch and check out.
A guide will then transfer you to Volcanoes national park where you will have also other activities to carry out and a lot of attractions to see

Day 4 : Gorilla trekking and nature walk
At Volcanoes national park, you will have breakfast and get transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing before conducting agorilla trek that will take several hours before spotting them. If you are in groups, you should not exceed a maximum of 8 people who are supposed to meet a gorilla family and you will spend with these gorilla a maximum of one hour. You will gather all the information you need in that tine and after that experience you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will have a nature walk around the park and you will get to see the attractions like birds, animals, landscapes and many more at a near distance while trekking. This walk will reward you with amazing views of the park and after a guide will transfer you to the lodge for your dinner and overnight rest.
Day 5 : Hike to Dian Fossey Tomb and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
On day 5, you will have a hike to Dian Fossey Tomb and s guide will pick you at the lodge after breakfast and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing. You will hike to Dian Fossey Tomb through the trails that lead there with the guide and when you get there, you will be able to see the tomb of the famous primatologist Dian Fossey and you will also learn more about the gorillas in this park with the assistance of the guides. You will head6to the lodge for lunch and you check out. A guide will then transfer you to Nyungwe National park

Day 6 : Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
On day 6, you will have breakfast, prepare your hiking boots and a guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing about a chimpanzee and you will get hiking sticks if you need them and then you will head to the forest with a ranger guide. You will spend a maximum of 1 hour with the chimpanzees and you will get to know how they manage to stay at this park and how their lifestyle like feeding and associating with each other. Under some guidelines, you will be allowed to take picture6and after return to your lodge. You will have lunch at the lodge and you have some rest.
In the late afternoon, you will go for a canopy walk with a guide after briefing and you will have an encounter with wildlife that resides in this park. While at the bridge, you be able to see Nyungwe forest from that point of view and its appearance while at the bridge is so eye-catching. You will after head back to the lodge with guide and relax. At dinner time, you will eat and retire to bed
Day 7 :Transfer to hotel in Kigali
At Nyungwe National Park, you will have breakfast in the morning at 8am and you will check out of the lodge. A guide will take you for a short briefing at the headquarters of the park anf6you will embark on your journey back to the hotel in Kigali.
