A 3 days Nyungwe chimpanzee tracking safari takes you for an adventure to Nyungwe National Park, where there are numerous activities to engage in. Nyungwe National Park in Rwanda is home to the chimpanzees; therefore, you will do chimpanzee tracking and also have a canopy adventure at the suspended bridge. Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
At the hotel in Kigali, a guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will meet and greet you there. You will go through the safari details, and the guide will take you to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. At the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the guides will take you through what transpired during the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will have views of the remains of the participants in the genocide. The guide will drive you to a hotel in Kigali where you will have lunch.
Once you are done with lunch, the guide will drive you to Nyungwe National Park. You will arrive at Nyungwe Park in the evening, and the guide will lead you to a booked lodge, and you will check in. After your bath, dinner will be served. After dinner, you will retire to bed.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and a canopy adventure
After breakfast, the guide will transfer you from the lodge, and you head to the park headquarters. The park wardens will brief you about the guidelines to follow while with the chimpanzee. The guide will transfer you from the park headquarters, and you will start Rwanda chimpanzee tracking. You will spend about 30 minutes to 4 hours spotting the chimpanzees. Once you spot the chimpanzees, you get to spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees. You will observe the chimpanzees feed, play and much more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge.
Lunch will be served to you at the lodge. After lunch, the guide will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing, and then you will go for a canopy adventure. The canopy adventure will take approximately 2 hours. This will be done at the suspended bridge, and you will have views of Nyungwe Forest, primates, birds and much more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge and then go to bed.
Day 3: Depart for Kigali
Early morning breakfast at the lodge. The guide will transfer you from the lodge after breakfast, and you will head back to Kigali. You will have lunch at a hotel in Kigali and go to Kimironko Market for a visit and then tour the market as you observe numerous items sold at this place. You will buy some of your choice and then head to a hotel in Kigali, where you will spend the night.
