7 Days Best of Rwanda Wildlife Safari
A 7 Days Best of Rwanda Wildlife Safari will take you to three national parks of Rwanda that is Volcanoes National Park, Akagera National Park and Nyungwe National Park. You will engage in a number of activities and get to experience the best of wildlife encounters at these parks.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kigali Airport and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Day 2 : Gorilla trek and hike to Mount bisoke

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Kigali Airport and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On day 1 of the 7 days best of Rwanda wildlife safari, a guide will linkup with you at Kigali Airport where you will start your journey after being briefed. You will have a stop over at Kigali genocide memorial and Kimironko market fir a brief take through of the history of Rwanda and you will also be able to buy some commodities at the market like clothes and souvenirs if interested. You will then have an enroute lunch before you proceed to Volcanoes National Park
You will check into a lodge when you get to Volcanoes National Park and it is where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2 : Gorilla trek and hike to Mount bisoke
On day 2 of the 7 days best of Rwanda wildlife safari, you will have breakfast in the morning at 6:30am and you get transferred to the park headquarters by the guide fir briefing and you then set off for a gorilla trek at 7am. You will track these primates following the available traces in the forest and this may take you several hours before you get to them. You will then have an hour to spend with these gorillas after spotting them and you will get to know about their way of life through the guide and you will also witness some of their behaviors with your own eyes.
You will then retire to the lodge for a brief lunch break and then you embark on a hike to mount bisoke which take you 6 hours to and from. You will see the scenic views of the park and how they are beautiful endowed once you get to the summit of Mount bisoke. You will also see various bird species and animal species on your way to the summit.
You will then head to your lodge for dinner and you head to bed and rest
Day 3 : Golden monkey trek and transfer to Akagera National Park
On day 3 of the 7 days best of Rwanda safari, you will have breakfast and connect with the guide to the park headquarters for briefing and then you start with the golden monkey trek that will take some hours to spot the golden monkeys depending on their location. A guide will reward you with one hour to spend with them and this is the time you have to take advantage of that is interacting and taking pictures of these primates for memories.
After the golden monkey trek, you will head to the lodge, have lunch and check out. A guide will then transfer you to Akagera National Park where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4 : Morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise at lake Ihema
On day 4 of the 7 days best of Rwanda wildlife safari, a guide will lead you to the park headquarters from your lodge. You will be guided on how the game drive is to be done and you will then set off. You will spot a number of wildlife including birds and animals while on the game drive. This morning game drive is considered the best because its when the wildlife is rising to search for food hence making it easy to spot them. This game drive may take about 2 to 3 hours.
You will then head back to the lodge and have breakfast, take a bath and relax. At 1pm,you will have your lunch and after prepare for a boat cruise at 3pm. You will set off to lake Ihema for a boat cruise after briefing and while on the cruise, you will see a number of animals that live both on land and in water. Sone of them include the hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and many more plus the birds.
You will then retire to your lodge and rest6as you get set for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Nature walk and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
On day 5 of the 7 days best of Rwanda wildlife safari, you will have breakfast in the morning, follow the guide to the park headquarters for briefing and its thereafter that you will go for a nature walk at the park where you will get encounters with various bird life in the park, animals and various plant life.
After the nature walk, you will check out of the lodge, have lunch and embark on your journey to Nyungwe National Park. You will check into a hotel when you get to Nyungwe National Park, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 6 : Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
On the 6th day of the 7 days best of Rwanda wildlife safari, a guide will meet you at the lodge after you done with breakfast and take you to the park headquarters for briefing before you start a chimpanzee trek. You will be given an armed guide to escort you to the forest in search of the chimpanzees. Once you spot them, you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat. A guide will be available to lecture you about these primates and will also answer your questions. You are free to take pictures of these primates without your flashlight on.
A guide will then lead you to the lodge and you take your lunch. After lunch, you will head back to the park headquarters with the guide to be briefed about the canopy walk before you set off. A guide will lead you to the canopy walk which will take approximately 2 hours. While at the bridge, you will be able to see the amazing views of the forest.
After the canopy walk, you will be guided back to the lodge for your dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7 : Transfer to Kigali Airport
On the 7th day of the 7 days best of Rwanda wildlife safari, you will take your breakfast at 8am before checking out of the lodge. After checking out, a guide will take you to the park headquarters where you will set off from as you head to the airport for your flight.
